digital filmmaking | indie filmmaking
Vancouver, British Columbia (BC), Canada - Hollywood North Canada announces its plan to honour global independent filmmakers through its Hollywood North Canada resources site.
It aims to help aspiring filmmakers and performing artists across Canada, US and the world.
In this digital age, many indie filmmakers are enthusiastic to begin a filmmaking project using digital cameras and smartphones.

Hollywood North Canada would like to support such endeavour and would like to encourage new filmmakers to tap into their creativity, start the project and share that work later.
Indie filmmakers need support, encouragement and appreciation for the work they are doing. Many indie filmmakers have limited access to resources.
But with digital technologies available today, filmmakers need to look into practical avenues where they can showcase their work and achieve recognition.
And Hollywood North Canada would like to contribute to that noble mission.

So, if you're a filmmaker or aspiring to be one, we encourage you to get started with your film project and be part of various events and opportunities. Watch out for future announcements here at Hollywood North Canada.
